Motorist Sent to Hospital in Rear-end Collision on First Street
Fresno, CA (March 07, 2021) – On Saturday, one was injured while a Fresno Police officer was involved in a rear-end crash on First Street.
Apparently, a police cruiser was involved in a crash with a civilian’s vehicle.
The driver of the civilian vehicle did not incur major injuries, but rescuers took the driver to a hospital for complaints of pain.
Moreover, Fresno Police did not mention who was at fault, though it seemed a rear-end crash.
Meanwhile, the police cruiser’s front was damaged, as was the back of the civilian vehicle.
Officers closed part of Herndon at First Street for a while, but the road is now back open.
When driving, it is important to keep a safe distance between your vehicle and the car in front of you. A safe following distance will allow you to perceive the car in front of you braking, put your foot on your brake, and stop the car safely. Stay alert and avoid distractions.
