San Marcos, CA (December 17, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on North Twin Oaks Valley Road.
The crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. when a Toyota Camry driver turned into a Post Office from a left-turn lane.
The motorcyclist was traveling southbound and struck the passenger side of the car.
As a result, the motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained a compound fracture to his left arm. Also, he sustained a possible broken right arm and other injuries that were non-fatal.
Rescuers rushed the victim to a hospital.
When driving a motorcycle, it’s important to follow the posted speed limit and to yield to other drivers during uncertain driving situations.
