Biker Hurt in Chula Vista Motorcycle Accident
CHULA VISTA, CA (April 15, 2019) – A motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car on April 12 in Chula Vista.
The incident occurred after 3:00 p.m. on Third Avenue near Naples Street, Chula Vista police said. According to 911 callers, the rider crashed with a northbound vehicle on Third Avenue.
The responding officers located the biker and described him as an adult male with traumatic head and lower extremities injuries. Medics transported the victim to UC San Diego Medical Center. He is still in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the van driver suffered no injuries. According to police, the other driver stayed at the scene and didn’t appear to be intoxicated.
The identities of the people involved in the crash remain unreleased.
