Motorcyclist Dies after Crash on Orange Street in Riverside

Riverside, CA (February 24, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, a motorcyclist died in a crash with a van at the intersection of Orange Street.

The fatal crash in Riverside happened at around 2:12 p.m. on February 24.

Riverside Police said the driver of a Ford Transit Connect Van headed west on University Avenue and crossed paths with the motorcyclist headed east on University Avenue in the intersection at Orange Street.

EMS took the motorcyclist to Riverside Community Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the van did not sustain injuries and remained at the scene and cooperated with detectives.

No other information is immediately available. An investigation is underway.
