Rider Dies in San Diego Motorcycle Accident

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 5, 2019) – A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning in a crash with a vehicle on the 5 Freeway near Pacific Highway.
 
According to police, the motorcyclist collided with a Toyota sedan around 4:50 a.m. The collision, which occurred between Little Italy and Mission Hills neighborhoods turned deadly when the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Officials believe the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the impact; however, an investigation surrounding this claim is underway.
