Hit-and-Run Vehicle Involved in Motorcycle Collision near Murray Ridge Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 26, 2018) – A motorcyclist was down after a hit-and-run crash on 805 Freeway, early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:17 AM in the northbound lanes of the highway, just south of Murray Ridge Road.
Based on an initial report from the police, the victim was able to get up after his bike was struck by a vehicle in the right shoulder. The suspect’s vehicle, a gold Jeep, reportedly cut another car before it hit the motorcycle. It immediately fled the scene after the crash.
Fortunately, the victim was not harmed or injured in the incident. The paramedics were called to the scene for a precaution.
A search is still ongoing to look for the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
