1 Hospitalized after Santa Clarita Motorcycle Accident

SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 1, 2019) – A motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was hospitalized following a crash with a car on Golden Valley Road on January 29.

The incident occurred just after 4:35 p.m. when a motorcycle and a car crashed on Golden Valley at Valley Center Drive.

“We had a car versus motorcycle,” Lt. Andrew Dahring of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station revealed.

The paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department came to the scene after receiving reports. The injured motorcyclist received treatment at the scene before being taken by an ambulance.

“This was an MC down. We had one patient taken to Henry Mayo (Newhall) Hospital,” Fire Department Capt. John Butorovich said.

Weaving in and out of lanes is dangerous. Always stay at your lane and be aware of the presence of other motorists around you. Pay attention and consider small vehicles like motorcycles and bicycles because these are more prone to road accidents than bigger vehicles.
