RICHMOND, CA (September 12, 2019) – A rider sustained injuries after a motorcycle accident on 80 Freeway westbound on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just east of Hilltop Drive at approximately 6:08 AM. Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle collided with a blue sedan.
 
The paramedics arrived for rescue. After that, they sent the rider to Kaiser Permanente Richmond Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
The Yamaha motorcycle sustained severe damage and found blocking the No. 2 lane. After that, a clearing operation performed in the area.
 
Police did not release any other information at this time. However, an investigation continues.
