MORENO VALLEY, CA – Man Hit, Killed by Driver on Heacock and Fawn Streets

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (February 5, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a motorist Monday morning while crossing Heacock Street at Fawn Street.
 
The incident happened around 4 a.m., according to sheriff’s Sgt. Gil Gonzalez
 
The man reportedly stepped onto Heacock Street just as a southbound motorist was attempting a turn onto Fawn Street.
 
Due to the severity of the accident, the man suffered major injuries and died shortly after. The motorist stayed at the scene and contacted 911. A preliminary investigation was handled by investigators and no arrests were made.
