Speeding Car Causes Crash on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley Sending 3 People to Hospital
MORENO VALLEY, CA (February 2, 2019) – A child was hurt following a high-speed crash Saturday evening in Moreno Valley.
The crash happened around 7:11 p.m. on eastbound 60 Freeway at Nason Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed with it collided with another vehicle. The impact sent the second vehicle into a ditch on the right shoulder, where it landed on its side.
At least three people, including a child, were hurt from the crash. The child was taken by paramedics to Riverside University Health System Medical Center for immediate treatment. The other two patients were transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
