Morning Collision Involving Several Vehicles on 58 Freeway in Mojave, Major Injuries Sustained
MOJAVE, CA (February 16, 2019) – One person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle collision Saturday morning in Mojave.
The collision happened around 5:10 a.m. on eastbound 58 Freeway at Cameron Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three to four vehicles were involved, some were blocking the freeway, while the others were on the right shoulder.
One occupant was reportedly stuck inside a vehicle with major injuries.
Paramedics were immediately called to the scene and took the badly injured patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The crash prompted officials to close the second lane of the freeway while evidence from the scene was collected and photographed.
