MODESTO, CA – One Killed in Car Crash on South Dakota Avenue near Highway 132

SUV Crashes into Fence on South Dakota Avenue in Modesto Leaving One Person Dead

 
MODESTO, CA (May 10, 2019) – One person was killed following a car accident late Friday evening on South Dakota Avenue in Modesto.
 
The fatal incident took place at 11:30 p.m., just South of Highway 132.
 
California Highway Patrol officials responded to the site and located a tan Ford Expedition that had struck a fence. Another vehicle may have been also involved but had possibly fled the scene.
 
As a result, one occupant suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
