Miles Chenoweth Killed, Jeremy Raikes Involved in Pedestrian Accident on Bohemian Highway [Sonoma County, CA]
Sonoma County, CA (August 21, 2020) – On Saturday, 29-year-old Miles Chenoweth of Sebastopol died in a pedestrian accident on Bohemian Highway.
California Highway Patrol responded to the crash at about 10:17 p.m. near Occidental on Camp Meeker Road.
The CHP said Chenoweth was walking northbound on Bohemian Highway when he was hit by a northbound car driven by the 83-year-old Jeremy Raikes of Monte Rio.
Chenoweth incurred severe and life-threatening injuries. Immediately, the rescuers rushed him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, Raikes stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Authorities said Raikes was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.
