31-Year-Old Karen Smith Injured in Las Vegas Fatal Traffic Accident
Las Vegas, NV (April 10, 2023) – On Saturday, Matthew Smith, 25, of Borger, and Jeremy Lamb, 45, of Fairfield, Montana, were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 152.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said the fatal crash took place at around 3:00 a.m. about 17.5 miles east of Dumas.
Investigating officers said Lamb was westbound on the freeway while Smith was eastbound.
According to the investigating officers, Lamb was driving on the wrong side of the road and struck Smith head-on.
Unfortunately, both Lamb and Smith were declared dead at the scene.
Moreover, Lamb had a passenger in his vehicle, 31-year-old Karen Smith. The paramedics air-lifted her to Northwest Texas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Texas Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the fatal incident.
