Matthew Colson Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on 64th Street Northeast Near 58th Drive Northeast

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (February 21, 2019) – A 24-year-old man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run motorist on 64th Street Northeast near 58th Drive Northeast Saturday.
 
Matthew Colson was reportedly struck by a driver while crossing 64th Street Northeast near 58th Drive Northeast. The driver failed to stop and render aid and, instead, took off leaving Colson with grave injuries.
 
Colson was best described as a kind-hearted and compassionate man by those who knew him best. He made a wondrous recovery following a skateboarding accident about 13 years ago. However, this past weekend, he never recovered.
 
Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest of the driver. According to reports, the vehicle involved was described as a dark-colored SUV.
