Tucson, AZ (November 15, 2020) – On Thursday, 31-year-old Mark Bettencourt died in a head-on crash on State Route 92.
 
The Tucson, Arizona crash happened at 5:39 p.m. near Hereford.
 
Bettencourt was driving a Honda Accord eastbound on State Route 93 when his car wandered across the centerline.
 
As a result, his car struck a GMC pickup head-on.
 
Authorities pronounced Mark Bettencourt dead at the scene.
 
On the other hand, rescuers treated the pickup truck driver for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
