Mario Olivas Dead in Fresno Motorcycle Accident
FRESNO, CA (July 15, 2019) – An Arizona male resident died in a motorcycle accident at Oceano Dunes on July 12.
State Park officials and lifeguards came to the scene just before 7:00 p.m. Upon their arrival, they located 48-year-old Mario Olivas unconscious and without a pulse. Responders transported him. However, Olivas died at the hospital.
According to park officials, the Mario Olivas rode his motorcycle at a high speed and was “shooting the bowl” at the time of the collision.
For unidentified reasons, Olivas was ejected from his motorcycle. The impact of his fall led to traumatic injuries.
Olivas wore an improperly secured helmet during the incident. However, authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the collision.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs Office is currently investigating the collision.
