Marilyn McKillian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on North Arrowhead Avenue Near West Base Line Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 11, 2020)—A woman died on Feb. 5 following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on North Arrowhead Avenue near West Base Line Street.
According to police, Marilyn McKillian tried crossing westbound on North Arrowhead Avenue in her motorized wheelchair.
However, around 3:23 p.m., a tractor-trailer attempting a turn onto North Arrowhead Avenue from West Base Line Street struck her.
Further reports say that the 64-year-old woman tried crossing north on a marked crosswalk.
Unfortunately, the driver of the tractor-trailer failed to stop and fled the scene. Paramedics arrived a short time later and pronounced McKillian deceased.
