Baseline Avenue Collision Kills Mariesha Collins
Fontana, CA (December 12, 2021) – On Friday, 55-year-old Mariesha Collins of Fontana lost her life in a vehicle crash on Baseline Avenue.
Officers said it was about 9:07 p.m. when the collision happened at the San Sevaine Road intersection.
Apparently, a blue Infiniti Q50 was westbound at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle then collided with a northbound gray Volkswagen Jetta at a green light.
Moreover, the paramedics provided lifesaving measures on Collins, however, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, the five occupants in the Infinity sustained moderate injuries and were rushed to area hospitals.
The authorities are investigating the crash and it was unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors.
