Man, Woman Hurt in San Jose Pedestrian Accident
SAN JOSE, CA (November 25, 2019) — Two people suffered injuries following a pedestrian crash Thursday evening on Tully Road and Senter Road.
According to police, the man and woman were reportedly crossing in the 600 block of Tully Road when a 2013 Toyota Corolla struck them around 6:30 p.m.
As a result of the crash, paramedics shuttled both victims to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities have ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors in the crash.
To best avoid pedestrian accidents, watch your speed in areas of high pedestrian activity, make eye contact with those crossing, observe school crossing signs and school bus rules and take weather into account. Keep these tips in mind whenever you are behind the wheel.
