Male Pedestrian Injured in San Mateo Car Accident
SAN MATEO, CA (April 5, 2019) – A man sustained injuries when a vehicle hit him on northbound Highway 101 in San Mateo on April 4.
CHP revealed that the vehicle hit the victim while he’s helping another motorist involved in a single-vehicle crash. The authorities added that the first single-vehicle collision occurred around 2:16 a.m. CHP Officer Art Montiel clarified that it’s a non-injury collision.
Meanwhile, the victim got clipped while assisting the motorist in the collision. The suspect vehicle escaped the scene.
Furthermore, medical responders transported the victim to a hospital.
The victim and the motorist couldn’t provide a description of the hit-and-run driver’s vehicle.
