1 Hurt in San Diego Auto Accident on Poway Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 7, 2020) – Thursday morning, a 33-year-old driver sustained serious injuries in a pickup truck crash on Poway Road.
According to San Diego police, at around 6:00 a.m., the man was speeding while driving east in a pickup truck. Then, it crashed into the back of a big rig that had stopped for a red light on Poway Road and Springhurst Drive.
Medical responders transported the motorist to a hospital to receive treatment of facial injuries. He also suffered severe internal trauma and a broken hip, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros revealed.
No other person suffered injuries in the crash.
