Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Collision near Illinois Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (February 13, 2020) – The authorities confirmed that a man died in a T-bone crash on North Blackstone Avenue Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Illinois Avenue at approximately 9:30 AM.
 
Reports from the Fresno Police Department showed that two vehicles fatally collided.
 
A Chevrolet Silverado T-boned a Mercedes-Benz that attempted a U-turn on the one-way street.
 
An attending coroner confirmed that the driver of the Mercedes, an unidentified man from Fresno, was pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities did not release his identity.
 
An initial assessment showed that drugs and alcohol did not contribute as a factor in the crash.
