1 Dead in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 11, 2020) – A man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 101 in South San Francisco on February 9.
Authorities issued a SigAlert at 10:31 p.m. for the freeway since five lanes were closed, and traffic was diverted off at S. Airport Boulevard.
According to the CHP, the man walked on the center divider. He faced oncoming traffic northbound 101, slightly beyond Grand Avenue, at around 9:30 p.m. A vehicle then hit the man, whose identity remains unavailable.
