Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car in Los Gatos

 
LOS GATOS, CA (December 17, 2019) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Blossom Hill Road near Los Gatos Boulevard Monday morning.
 
According to Sgt. Jamie Field, the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. right across from Blossom Hill Elementary School.
 
The unidentified victim died at the scene and the driver of the vehicle involved remained on-site and cooperated with police investigators. As a result of the crash, crews diverted traffic in the area for an extended period for investigations.
 
The victim’s name is not known at this time. However, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner coroner’s office plans to release the identity once the next of kin has been notified.
 
Authorities are investigating the likely causes that drove this fatal accident.
