17-Year-Old Driver Involved in Artesia Boulevard Fatal Crash
Long Beach, CA (February 12, 2022) On Thursday, a man was run over by a vehicle in a fatal pedestrian accident on Artesia Boulevard.
Authorities say that the incident happened about 8:32 p.m. in the area of Artesia Boulevard and Orizaba Avenue.
The Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD) firefighters say that the man was lodged under the vehicle and they had to pull him out.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died on the spot, his name is not available pending notification of his kin.

Police say that when the teenager hit the man, he was on the roadway and was lying down.
