1 Dead in City Heights Pedestrian Crash on State Route 15 and University Avenue
CITY HEIGHTS, CA (November 16, 2021) – Monday morning, a man died in a pedestrian accident on State Route 15 and University Avenue.
The incident occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on State Route 15 and University Avenue. According to reports, an unidentified man ran from the center median across northbound State Route 15, south of University Avenue. However, a white Tesla struck the man.
Afterward, responders took the man to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the Tesla driver stayed on the scene and has been cooperative with the investigators. However, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the driver.
Moreover, the incident shut down two freeway lanes for about an hour during the investigation.
