EDMONDS, WA (March 21, 2019) – Police officers are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident on Highway 99 near 236th Street Southwest that occurred Monday night.
 
According to investigators, the 44-year-old man suffered serious injuries, urging paramedics to transport him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died shortly after.
 
The 9 p.m. crash involved a driver who remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigations. According to reports, the driver struck the victim as he crossed the highway. However, the details surrounding where the fault lies, and other information are under investigation.
