Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 22, 2019) – A 37-year-old man died Monday in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on East Central Avenue near South Waterman Avenue.
According to a police statement, the San Bernardino man was found lying on East Central Avenue around 10:45 p.m.
Once San Bernardino County fire paramedics arrived, they transported him to a hospital where he died shortly after.
Inferring from evidence at the scene, authorities learned that the driver struck the pedestrian as he walked east along the south side of the road. The driver failed to stop and continued driving.
