Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Near San Fernando Road Kills 60-year-old Man
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 22, 2019) — A hit-and-run near San Fernando Road and Truesdale Avenue in Sun Valley claimed the life of a 60-year-old man on Saturday.
The fatal collision happened at about 11:50 p.m. according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The 60-year-old man got out of his vehicle and was crossing eastward on San Fernando Road when a vehicle struck him.
The Los Angeles fire crew responded to the scene and transported the unidentified man to a local hospital. Unfortunately, he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop nor rendered aid on the scene. The police said the suspect vehicle was possibly a black Lexus SUV that was headed south during the crash.
There is a $50,000 reward offered for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. The officers encourage anyone with information about the incident to call 818 644-8115 or 818-644-8022.
