Man Dies in Tucson Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident
TUCSON, AZ (December 6, 2019) — A pedestrian died Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash at St Mary’s Road and West Anklam Road.
Tucson Police and Tucson Fire Department medics responded to a call around 11:00 p.m. Upon their arrival, they found a pedestrian who had been struck by a driver.
Paramedics immediately rendered life-saving efforts to the victim, but unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police later questioned bystanders, learning that the man had been struck by a vehicle that fled westbound. No one had sufficient information for officers on the suspect or the suspected vehicle.
The fatal victim’s name will be released once his next of kin is notified.
