Deadly Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash Reported in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 2, 2019) — Authorities are seeking the hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a man in a pedestrian accident on Florence Avenue on Thanksgiving morning.
The incident occurred around 6:10 a.m. and involved a small black four-door sedan.
According to reports, the vehicle struck the pedestrian who crossed south on West Florence Avenue, west of South Gramercy Place.
Following the impact, the driver showed no regard to the victim and continued westbound. After that, paramedics responded and transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the victim has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
As investigators piece together the events of this fatal collision, a reward of up to $50,000 is available to the community who can help provide information to officials in identifying the driver involved.
