1 Dead and 3 Hurt in Phoenix Auto Crash near Seventh Street
PHOENIX, AZ (September 10, 2020) – Last Tuesday, a man died while three others suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident near Seventh Street.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the incident occurred just before midnight on near Seventh Street and Roeser Road.
Upon the firefighters’ arrival, they located a Dodge Durango and a Cadillac Escalade that had crashed and overturned. Responders transported three people – a 22-year-old woman, a 29-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old man – to a hospital in serious condition.
After conducting an investigation, the Phoenix police determined that the 38-year-old driver of the Escalade failed to yield at a red light on Roeser Road. Then, it collided with the Durango, leaving the two female occupants with injuries.
Furthermore, authorities found the dead body of a 38-year-old man in the backseat of the Escalade.
The crash remains under active investigation.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim.
