Pedestrian Injured in Spring Valley Hit-and-Run Accident near Bancroft Drive and State Route 94
SPRING VALLEY, CA (May 20, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash near Bancroft Drive and State Route 94.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Travis Garrow, a vehicle struck a pedestrian. As the pedestrian walked across an onramp from Bancroft Drive to westbound State Route 94, the vehicle hit the man. Also, the incident happened at around 5:55 a.m. near Mount Helix in Casa De Oro
As a result, responders rushed the 74-year-old male pedestrian to Sharp Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed that the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Moreover, officers said that there was no immediate description of the hit-and-run vehicle as of this moment.
