Motorcyclist Seriously Injured after SUV Crash on Wardlow Avenue in San Diego

 
San Diego, CA (August 13, 2020) – Wednesday evening, a 26-year-old man sustained severe injuries after a motorcycle crash on Wardlow Avenue at Lawndale Street.
 
The crash happened at around 5:05 p.m. on August 12. Dispatched officers responded shortly after.
 
Investigators say a 60-year-old woman driving a Toyota RAV4 eastbound on Wardlow made a left turn and collided with the motorcycle. The motorcyclist hit the left corner of the SUV and was ejected.
 
Emergency crews then transported the man to a hospital for treatment of fractures to his left tibia and fibula.
 
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials.
 
Moreover, police say intoxication is not a factor in the crash.
