Morning Pedestrian Crash at Pasadena and Cypress Avenues, Injuries Reported
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 31, 2019) – A man riding a bicycle with a dog was injured Friday, in a pedestrian crash at Pasadena and Cypress avenues.
The crash happened around 8:20 a.m., at Pasadena Avenue and Cypress Avenue. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
According to the CHP, the man was riding with his dog when he was struck by a gray Toyota Camry at the intersection. The impact consequently sent the victim down the roadway.
Paramedics responded took the man to a hospital for further treatment of minor injuries. There has been no update on his current medical condition at this time.
It is still currently unknown if the dog was hurt in the crash.
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired to cause the collision. Further investigation is underway.
