Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Camino Tassajara [Danville, CA]

DANVILLE, CA (August 30, 2019) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Camino Tassajara, Friday morning.
 
According to the Danville Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:11 AM. A vehicle attempted to turn left from Alta Vista Way onto eastbound Camino Tassajara when it struck a pedestrian.
 
A San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District ambulance transported the victim to John Muir Medical Center with major injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
It is unknown whether or not the man attempted to cross in a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
