Pedestrian Critically Hurt in San Francisco Crash
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 10, 2020) — A pedestrian accident on 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard left a man with life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a southbound red Toyota Prius struck an adult male on 19th Avenue around 3:15 a.m.
Soon after, paramedics brought the pedestrian to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital for further treatment. He currently remains in life-threatening condition.
At this time, it is still unclear what drove the accident. However, more information will be released once available.
The unidentified driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Moreover, the surrounding area on 19th Avenue was closed down during preliminary duties.
