Man Hurt in Oro Grande Pedestrian Accident on National Trails Highway
ORO GRANDE, CA (July 24, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered injuries Tuesday in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash at National Trails Highway and Barbosa Road.
Around 5:02 a.m., Victorville City Fire responded to reports of an accident. According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, callers saw a man lying on the road after being possibly hit by a car.
The victim, described as a man about 40 years old, required immediate treatment. Thus, paramedics transported him to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and airlifted him to an out of area trauma center for further treatment.
News reports neglected to include details pertaining to the incident; however, authorities still plan on handling a thorough investigation.
The surrounding area closed off for a brief time while crews cleared the wreckage. However, the roadway has since reopened.
