SAN DIEGO, CA (March 7, 2022) – Sunday morning, a 22-year-old man suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Home Avenue near Fairmount Avenue.
 
The incident happened at about 3:45 a.m. when a Toyota Prius struck a 22-year-old man running in the westbound traffic lanes. Moreover, it happened on Home Avenue near Fairmount Avenue.
 
After the crash, the 31-year-old driver of the westbound vehicle stayed at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the 22-year-old man with a brain bleed, broken ribs, and lacerated spleen.
 
According to some witnesses, the man had been arguing with his wife before he went into the road.
 
The impact sent the man several feet into the air and about 25 feet away from the crash scene.
