One Fatality Reported in Morning Crash on Highway 99 in Modesto
MODESTO, CA (October 3, 2019) – A man was found dead in a crash Thursday morning on Highway 99 in Modesto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at a homeless camp off of Highway 99 near Standiford Avenue. A woman called 911 at 10:55 a.m. to report.
Officers arrived and pronounced a male party dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
