Officers Investigate Tucson Deadly Crash
Tucson, AZ (April 5, 2024) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on East 22nd Street Wednesday evening.
It was about 6:15 p.m. when the fatal collision happened on South Herbert Avenue.
Investigators said the man was crossing mid-block on 22nd Street when he was struck by a westbound Ford Focus. Officers said he was not on a crosswalk when the accident happened.
Sadly, the male pedestrian died at the scene.
Officers consider sun glare as a possible factor and they determined that the driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.
This collision is under investigation.
