Big Rig Crash on Taft Avenue Kills Orange Man Riding Gas-Powered Bike
Orange, CA (December 17, 2020) – On Wednesday, an Orange man riding a gas-powered bike died in a big-rig crash on Taft Avenue.
The fatal accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. near Leslie Way in the bicycle lane.
Even so, it was not identified whether the truck was parked or moving when the bicyclist ran into it.
Responding officers pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and spoke with the police.
Authorities closed eastbound lanes on Taft Avenue until Wednesday afternoon.
