Man Killed, Women Injured in Solo-Car Accident in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 14, 2019) – A man died during a rollover crash Friday in the 900 block of Ming Avenue near Haggin Oaks Boulevard.
The collision occurred around 1:20 p.m. According to police, officers arrived to find an overturned car with a man and two women inside.
Police found the man unresponsive, and an off-duty nurse and responding officers rendered aid to him. Reports say he suffered minor to moderate injuries in the accident.
Two female passengers also suffered minor to moderate injuries.
An updated release from the Bakersfield Police Department stated that the male driver subsequently passed away at a nearby hospital. It seems as though he suffered a medical event during the rollover accident.
Because details are limited, an ongoing investigation of this crash is underway by officials.
