Man Fatally Struck on Highway 70
Oroville, CA (January 28, 2022) – On Thursday, a man lost his life in a Highway 70 pedestrian accident.
A man was trying to get his dogs after they ran out onto the highway, south of Palermo Road.
Unfortunately, a truck traveling at 65 mph struck him. Then, another vehicle struck him afterward.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Moreover, the drivers of both vehicles called 911 and cooperated with the investigation.
Investigating officers said drugs and alcohol were not involved with either driver.
The authorities are investigating this collision.
