FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA (July 11, 2021) – Saturday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Euclid Street and Warner Avenue.
 
According to Fountain Valley police Lt. Kham Vang, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. Moreover, it happened in the area of Euclid Street and Warner Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound minivan struck a man in a wheelchair. The man was attempting to cross Euclid Street westbound along Warner Avenue when the minivan hit him.
 
After the first collision, a northbound SUV struck the pedestrian. The two drivers involved remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
Furthermore, paramedics pronounced the victim, a man in his 50s, dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, it is still unknown if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Also, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
