LAKE ISABELLA, CA (March 8, 2022) – Early Monday morning, a 63-year-old man died in a rollover crash on Highway 178 and Elizabeth Norris Road.
 
According to reports, the incident occurred on Highway 178 and Elizabeth Norris Road.
 
CHP revealed that the 63-year-old man headed east on Highway 178, west of Elizabeth Norris Road. Then, his vehicle veered off the road. Afterward, they made an abrupt left turn and lost control. As a result, his vehicle rolled over, crossed over the road, and went down an embankment.
 
During the crash, the driver was ejected after failing to wear his seatbelt Thus, he sustained fatal injuries while his passenger suffered moderate injuries. Then, responders took the patient to the Kern Medical Center. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the passenger’s condition.
 
Moreover, the authorities do not believe that alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the crash shut down Highway 178 for some time during the investigation.
