Phoenix, AZ (January 25, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, a male pedestrian sustained critical injuries following a 27th Avenue hit-and-run crash.
The traffic collision took place at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Durango Street.
People who saw the accident said the driver was on a green light and had the right of way when the pedestrian stepped onto the roadway.
The paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital in critical condition while the vehicle fled the scene.
