Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Beach Boulevard and Clay Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 2, 2019) – A Westminster man died in a motorcycle accident on Beach Boulevard, Friday morning.
Authorities withheld the identity of the 23-year-old victim, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:25 AM. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit the victim near Beach Boulevard and Clay Avenue.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries. However, he died hours after the collision.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, described as a 58-year-old Huntington Beach man, did not sustain injuries in the crash. Also, he remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Huntington police asks witnesses to cooperate by calling (714) 536-5666. Authorities will release additional information to the public once it becomes available.
