Police Searching for Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Sonoma Mountain Parkway in Petaluma

Petaluma, CA (January 5, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a 45-year-old Petaluma man sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Sonoma Mountain Parkway.

The hit-and-run crash in Petaluma happened around 5:43 p.m. on January 4, just north of East Washington Street.

Petaluma Police said the man crossed the roadway from the east side of Sonoma Mountain Parkway when struck by a black 2006 Scion traveling southbound.

More so, the Scion was then rear-ended by a pizza delivery vehicle, a black Mitsubishi.

EMS rushed the victim to Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

The man said that another vehicle hit him after the first vehicle and knocked him into the (No. 1) lane. He claimed this vehicle ran over his legs as he attempted to sit up.

The victim is in stable condition and remains in the hospital with internal injuries.
